Choir

To the glory of God, the Adelaide Mar Thoma Church Choir continued its faithful ministry of music throughout 2024–2025. The choir actively led worship during regular services and special occasions, lifting voices in praise and strengthening congregational worship. The General Body Meeting was

held on 4th August 2024, where the annual and financial reports for 2023–2024 were presented and unanimously approved.

Christmas Carol Service was held on 1st December 2024, with the main choir and junior choir presenting 10 songs under the leadership of Mr. Santhosh George and Mr. Joby Sam. The choir also visited and sang at Anglican and CSI congregations, promoting ecumenical harmony. The Choir Dedication Day

(DSMC Sunday) was observed on 7th of June 2025, with active participation in worship and a food sale that fostered fellowship and supported fundraising. In addition to the dedication day sale, the choir raised funds by selling 2025 Maramon convention songbooks, sponsored by the Choir Master.

The choir also participated in the inter-church musical event “Gloria Dei” on 16th of November 2024, singing two songs and joining hands in interfaith celebration.

We sincerely thank our Vicar Rev. Wilson George, office bearers, and choir leadership for their constant support and prayers. The commitment and cooperation of every choir member have been vital to the success of all initiatives. We look forward to another blessed year of music, worship, and unity in Christ.
